THE HOLIDAY APARTMENT
Our lovingly renovated 56sqm apartment for 2 people is part of our old brick house from 1880 and is located in a beautiful and natural corner of the Uckermark. It is an ideal starting point for small day trips. There are several bathing lakes, beautiful forests and picturesque villages in the immediate vicinity, all of which are easily accessible via cycling and hiking trails.
The apartment has its own entrance from the street and is shielded with a green, park-like strip. In summer and spring you can enjoy the breakfast, afternoon and evening sun in the small front garden. There you can eat, read or just relax and watch the horse & carriage go by or watch the village storks fly low past the house.
In 2019 we lovingly renovated the apartment so that as many historical details as possible, such as the ceiling beams, became visible again. Together with rustic accessories these details emphasize the charm of this cozy country apartment. This is additionally supported by the clay and limestone walls and warm lighting.
We have installed large lattice windows in the kitchen and living room on the green side of the street and the front garden. In midsummer it is pleasantly cool here due to the orientation to the north and the many trees. The apartment has a rustic, fully equipped kitchen with a large dining table and space for 4 people. The living room has a tiled oven, which also distributes its heat into the bedroom and the hallway. The bedroom at the back of the apartment has a 180x200 bed and two very comfortable mattresses, as well as a large mirror and a chest of drawers. The bathroom has a bath and is lit with beautiful morning sun. Just the right thing to wake up to. Of course, the entire apartment has WiFi, and films can be streamed via Netflix on the TV. We also have a range of DVDs, books and board games.
The apartment is a non-smoking apartment. Therefore we ask our guests to only smoke outside and to use the ashtray for this. Dogs are very welcome here, but we insist on a few basic rules, eg please don't let the dogs into the bed or on the sofa.
